1. Nature of Service

The Kindred Project provides general advisory guidance relating to digital safety and scam awareness. We do not provide financial, legal, banking or investment advice. Our role is to help callers pause, assess a situation and understand their options — all decisions remain the responsibility of the individual.

2. No Guarantee of Outcome

While we aim to provide accurate and helpful information, we do not guarantee the outcome of any situation or decision made following a consultation. Scam tactics evolve and no service can identify every threat with certainty.

3. Not Affiliated

The Kindred Project is an independent service and is not affiliated with any bank, financial institution, law enforcement agency or government body. We do not act on behalf of any third party.

4. We Will Never Request Sensitive Information

We will never request passwords, PINs, one-time authentication codes, full banking credentials or remote access to your device. If you are ever asked for these by anyone claiming to represent Kindred, end the call and contact us directly to report it.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, The Kindred Project is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, including financial loss, fraud, or third-party criminal activity, resulting from actions taken or not taken following a consultation with our service.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all conversations with privacy and discretion. We do not record calls. We do not share your information with third parties, except where we may refer you to relevant authorities or institutions for your own safety.

7. Pilot Period & Subscription

The current 14-day pilot is offered at no charge and with no obligation to continue. Where a paid subscription is offered following the pilot period, it will be charged monthly at the published rate. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. The pilot period and its terms may be modified or withdrawn at our discretion.

8. Availability

The Kindred Project advisory service is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm AEST. Outside of these hours, callers are invited to leave a message and we will respond the next business day. We do not guarantee response times.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
